I thought this might amuse some of you who might have dreaded/looked forward to this situation...
I am a potter, and was spending a nice sunny saturday morning with some fellow potters at my teacher's house, loading a kiln. I was going in and out of the basement studio, bringing pots outside to be fired...I was standing inside the studio, looking outside, when I saw someone's legs that weren't a fellow potter's. A leg cast on one leg...could it be...MY PSYCHIATRIST??? I went up, and YES, it was him!!! He looked much more startled to see me than I was to see him. He was driving by, looking for the showroom, I introduced him to my teacher and she showed him around, he bought a few pots...she said he was awfully nervous. Ha ha! I'm sure he didn't know that everyone that I work with at the studio knows that I see a shrink and we all had a good laugh about it afterwards. I suppose if I were around a bunch of people who didn't know me well, it would have been much more awkward for me. I keep chuckling about how uncomfortable he looked when he saw me and how he just kept shifting around on his feet...Ha Ha!!!
This is the end of the thread.
