now, if you notice, it all started about the time you began flirting with kid. oh yes, karen holds a grudge!!! (oh, and to do it on the writing board, where you think i wouldn't see it... the horror jai, the horror!!)
jai, my sweet lady. i've missed you. where have you been? and how have you been darling? i hope you've been well. i've really missed you so. don't think i haven't. i've been up to my ears in busywork, woman's work (that's old man speak for house cleaning), and any other work you can possibly think of (except of course the kind that pays you money). oh dear, but next week i have finals and mean karen is bound to rear her ugly face once again!
jai dear, how are those lovely birds? i must say, i've found a new appreciation for them. and not even big bird. the smaller ones too. don't lose touch my friend. and the next time my dog tries to catch a bird, i won't give him slack on the leash. instead, i yell, "no dog!!! leave that poor birdie alone!" and think of you jai.

*those birds are coming in and we are delighted.....delighted. I love to see the tiny winged things finally reaching their destination. It's such a long journey, you know. They fly from so far...when they get to us they are singing such sweet songs and look their best to impress the females. I love it. Thanks for asking.
