That's funny-as-in-amusing, not funny-as-in-unusual. The former is probably the latter, but the latter is not necessarily the former. Knowhutimean?
zuzu80's thread over on Babble Classic about if a med could make you talkative made me think of one rather funny experience, which I'll put in a post below. We get to hear so much about meds doing wicked, nasty side-effect things ... but as for this thread in general, the question is:
Have you ever had a reaction to a medication that was amusing, guffaw-invoking and/or otherwise funny?
I dunno ... maybe it's just me....

My very first pill ... 50mg of zoloft ... hit me like a twelve pack, and I'm a very happy drunk. That day, I was heading out to an elementary school to do some consultation work with some teachers on teaching science, and I noticed on the train a little giddiness and a big drop in any inhibitions I might be feeling.
I got to the school, went to the resource room where I was to meet the teachers, opened the door, stepped inside and proclaimed rather loudly to all who were gathered:
"Guess who I took a shower with today?!"
Thank goodness there were no kids or administrators present! I had taken a shower with my 6 month old German Shepherd, whose curiousity finally got the best of her and she jumped around the shower curtain and into the tub. And was out almost as fast, a very wet, very unhappy puppy. Because the teacher I primarily worked with was a dog nut (AKC delegate, Husky breeder) I just HAD to share that little moment.
Well, I slapped my hand over my mouth, giggling and blushing at the same time and saying to myself that I **really** needed to mentally review anything else I wanted to say that day, if my brain could beat my tongue to the punch.
So, in answer to zuzu80 ... I can think of one instance at least....
