T is out of town

and I really need to talk to someone. Have any of you talked to a "susbtitute T" that fills in when yours is unavailable? I'm just not sure that a sub would ever understand what I'm going through or be able to help me.

Do you have arrangements made with your T for emergencies? It would be worth interrupting her if you're in crisis.

She said that a coworker would be covering. I'm not in total crisis yet. It just seems like my world is spinning out of control and I need someone to bring me back to reality.

I would definitely call that co-worker - if your T said she was covering, I would think that she had confidence in that person. You don't have to tell your whole story, just what is making you spin right now.

Unless there is something we can help you with? What's going on?

Among other things, I'm feeling very alone. It doesn't help that it's a holiday weekend either.

I just feel like I'm falling into a downward spiral. It's been a rough week (job, relationship, social, parents, etc.)

Yikes! I've had rough holiday weekends too. Just feel like you're rolling around like a lonely little old marble. I'm very uncomfortable in crowds (I don't know if you are); they make me feel even more alone.

How about doing some Wildflower pampering? I decided to schedule a manicure and pedicure this Saturday; partly to fill in time, and mostly to treat myself. If you were here we could put mudpacks on our faces together and eat bon-bons.

If it helps, I check here and post quite often (I'm very spoiled).

And if you're crying-so-hard-you-can't-stop lonely, definitely call the stand-in T.

let me know how you're doing.
