Hi everyone. I'm new to the group. I have previously taken celexa, then serzone and then paxil. This started several years ago after the birth of my second child (now 6). I have gotten off of each medication mainly because of the sexual side effects (inability to O) and because they made me gain weight. I have been off of everything for over a year and hate to even think about starting an anti-depressant again. My doctor says that Effexor is better and that it will give me more energy. Anyone care to comment?

Welcome, and sorry if it's confusing, but there are a number of boards here, and it's the main one that focuses on medication. Here's a link:
