This sounds like two people suffering to me. I guess if you can laugh about it once in a while. That makes things less painful. Are either of you on medications for these symptoms?

Wife has vascular dementia/stroke related brain damage and takes zyptrexa for the symptoms .I am alsoprescribed zyprexa but don't take it cos it zonks me out and then i'm totally mentally/physically wiped out to be there for my wife if she needs me. She has a cpn who comes in every 3 weeks but vast majority is down to me .
Aside of the vascular dementia she also has chronic arthritis, asthma and bowel bladder problems. Bowel problems are the worse cos there is no teeling when they are going to kick in .Literally i want to go count five whoops too late then it is major clean up time with me heaving all the way because the smell is so offensive.
Just had to deal with such a problem quarter of hour or so ago.

Sounds like you have a lot to deal with. Being a care taker can take a lot out of you.
