Anyone have a CHIUAHUA?

I have recently aquired 2 chiuahua's (for my teenage daugher) I already have a dog (beagle mix-sweetist dog in the world) Anyway, I didnt realize that these tiny dogs would be such a problem. For example:
They dont want to go to the bathroom outside, because at times the darn grass is taller than them!
They are very hyper and run through the house so fast its like "speedy gonzalas"...I guess they are mexican..:) But, they have drug clothes out of bedrooms and chewed up things etc...Even though we keep them gated in the kitchen during the day, (with dog pee-pads) they seem to wait until we get home, let them out and go in our living room!! Does anyone have some advise?

When you let them out of the kitchen put them straight outside and don't let them in until they've done something. There're books and videos on dog training, have you checked out the library?

Yes, I have Paris Hilton's chiuahua, and I'm not giving it back.
