Depends, KK. I look through the subject headings, and if anything intrigues me, I'll check out the thread and maybe even jump in. What this usually earns me, however, is a Please Be Civil admonition from Bobby, so I've come to regard this page as a place loaded with well-hidden land mines. It's difficult (and not much fun) to participate in a discussion when you feel like you constantly have to keep your eyes on verbal terrain studded with PCism ahead. I like hyperbole and banter and facetiousness and irony and even a touch of sarcasm in my conversations. I don't enjoy having to express myself in such a restrained and self-conscious manner that I feel like there's a school-marm listening over my shoulder, ready to rap my knuckles with a ruler at any second. That's why I generally stick to tossing out my thoughts in poems on Writing; within the context of a poem, as long as I don't use a naughty word like motherfu**er without bleeping it, I think I'm given more license to be myself. That said, what's on your mind? ;) Atticus
This is the end of the thread.
