i love that song
and i am young
they played it at the bars when i started university"you are the dancing queen/young and sweet/oh you're seventeen"
and i was seventeen and i was dancing up a storm and kicking up my feet and enjoying every second of it
then i met new friends this year that are older than i am and they layered on the nostalgia of actually being there
meanwhile i have original memories of the holdovers in the gay discos and the campus pubs
that song really does live forever, doesn't it?
