I am salivating as we speak.
Pretty please.
I bought a crock pot last year and love it. I just need some great recipes.

It didn't turn out like a real Indian curry, more like a spicy stew, but it's pretty tasty.

12 oz chicken, cut up
4 med potatoes, cut up
1 green pepper, cut up
1 med onion, sliced
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 T coriander
1/2 t ground ginger
1.5 t paprika
3/4 t salt
1/2 to 1 t crushed red pepper
1/2 t turmeric
1/4 t cinnamon
1/8 t ground cloves
3/4 cup chicken broth

After it's cooked add 1 T cornstarch dissolved in 1 T cold water, heat til thickened.

I left the chicken on top, then took it out as soon as it was cooked. I hate over-cooked chicken. It still took forever for the potatoes to cook. If I use this recipe again I think I'll boil the potates first then just cook it all in the crockpot til the chicken is done.

It also made waaaayyy too much so I'd probably use smaller or fewer potatoes. I used 4 big baking potatoes.

Jai there are tons of free crockpot recipes on the internet-- just google for crockpot recipes or slow cooker recipes.

Thank you so much for this.
Did you know that cinnamon is good for diabetics...
as well as people with syndrome-X.
There are studies out that talk about it's effect on cholesterol and high triglycerides.
I love Indian food.
I was an Indian cook for 10 years.
But the crock pot is new and I have tried recipes from the net but didn't meet with much satisfaction.
I will be thinking of you, Tabitha, as I munch on my tender delicious chicken.
Jai :)
