I'll be an aide for a special needs child in preschool. Only 12 hours per week until school is out, but it should work out well to transistion my girls (15 months and 2.5 yrs) to daycare. My special needs son will be in the next classroom!!!
I got some inside scoop about another position (with the same org) that will be available full-time in a couple of months doing home visits for children 1 thru 3 and holding play groups, organizing field trips, etc. and I'm hoping that getting my foot in the door as an aide will lead me to this position. I would be great payand great benefits.
Clonazepam has really been helping with my social anxiety. I remember when I was a kid I couldn't stand to be in large groups of people so I never dreamed I'd be wanting a job like this! It just goes to show that my life may have been so different had I discovered and gotten treatment for my depression, GAD and OCD sooner. My husband is still resisting getting treatment for his behavioral problems and I don't think that's going to change.
Just happy to share this news and some of you know I've been trying to get/save money for a divorce, so I'm getting a little more optimistic every day that I'll get the happiness I deserve this coming year!
