I know this sounds cheesy, but I just wanted to say that I like you. You make my life slightly more bearable than it would be otherwise.
Mostly, I just wanted to start a new thread so we could stop haranguing Bob on Admin. Now we can harangue him (gently, of course) here. But everything I wrote above is true. ;) your pal, crushed

Please -- call me Atti! ;) And what you're saying doesn't sound cheesy to me at all. I like you, too. Meeting you in person was fun -- definitely the highlight of the past few months. You're very easy to talk to and have a great sense of humor. Knowing you'll be here on Psycho-Babble for a mutual pep talk when both of us head to the office on Jan. 3 somehow makes going back to work a lot easier. That'll be a bit strange, as everyone in the university office where I work now pretty much knows I have bipolar disorder (or at the very least, they're aware I have some kind of psychiatric condition), and I have no idea how that will affect the way people interact with me. But I figure I'll just roll with it and see how things play. Ta. ;) your buddy, Atti
