I am so surprised that no one mentioned the obvious thing to feel better and relieve pain, to me anyway, massage. So many answers involving pressure to perform, do more, be more, are we all like that here? Did we all forget that others can be employed to help us, and maybe not even employed, but friends you know. Gee, Pinkeye, do you know anybody that could give you a lovely relaxing massage with hot towels? And lotions, creams, and oils. AND aromatherapy .. That's really the ticket...

I'm with you. I looove massages!
I've only had one "real" massage from a massage therapist but my husband gives good ones. It's just that he doesn't seem to know how to give them without expecting something in return. *wink

My last and final ex-, or even husband for that matter, never could give a massage. It was like everything else in his life, let's get this over with the most efficient way possible attitude. Well, kind of but that's the way I liked it. I don't think I really liked being with him. No, definitely not. He made the need for a massage necessary in the first place ...
