is final today. Ambivalence abounds. A sense of relief mixed with an overwhelming sense of loss. Almost 23 years and two kids later...fini. I'm takin' a few days off to go see some friends. God do I need a break. Have a lovely weekend!!!

Yes, all mixed in, good and bad. And a lifetime of history. Enjoy your rest and visiting your friends, Kid. It's a wringer of an event (one of the top 10 in life, remember!), so be good to yourself.

And don't feel weird if you need to grieve it a little... sometimes we need to grieve "what should have been" that we have lost...
