Chatting and universal time

Posted by Shy_Girl on May 2, 2005, at 16:41:55

I'm sure this has come up before...but I was just thinking that it would probably make it a lot easier for people to get together to chat if everyone posted when they are going to chat in both their local time and universal time.

In astronomy, when recording observations, universal time is always used. We also have to take into account daylight savings.
