I'm having trouble getting involved with the menopausal web site that I joined. And I just really, really need to say........
The wierd thing going on happened again. This is the fourth month. If it's nothing, why is it doing it? This is simply just blowing my mind.
Now, how can I say what is happening without saying it, and without offending anyone, or turning every man on this website completely against women all together?
I um, have um, something..........Oh for Pete's Sake, I can't say it.
My face is red now.Signed Me
The Pre-Menopausal One. (Used to be full of Grace, now just full of bluish green stuff - and NO that is NOT coming from the NETHER region, think higher, much higher)

I just can't get over that your doctor is saying that this is Normal. I have never in my life heard of it. But then again, I've lived a rather sheltered life. As far as my mom was concerned, all us kids came out of her belly. Thanks, mom, are you sure you were a nurse for 30 years??
I'd say that it's nigh well time for a second opinion, m'lady. If this condition is not a health concern, that's one thing. But it sure doesn't sound like anything to just take in stride (if only because I've never heard of it).
Does the condition have a name, and have you googled it? That's where I would likely start.
perimenopausally yours,

Ok, I'll confess.
It happened to me, too. I freaked and went to my gyno who misunderstood and thought I said bloody and sent me off for a mammogram and off to an oncologist. While I was waiting for that appointment I really!!!!! freaked, started planning my will, etc.
The oncologist looked at it, was very nonchalant and said nothing to worry about and (kindly, but basically) said go away and don't come back until you have something real.

hi AdaGrace,
I don't have experience here (not hit menopause yet), but my Mom has, and I know she had LOTS of weird stuff happen. It's not like she would talk about it all the time, b/c it was private & I think she was embarrassed, but I know she went to the doctor several times for "stuff" happening. And he said it was all normal.Trust your doctor, I think. If he/she says it's "normal" then don't worry about it. Or see a different doctor if you don't agree. You could even go to one of those walk-in clinics to get a quick second opinion.
I'm sorry you're going through things that make you uncomforable & unhappy. I hope it gets better soon. :)

It is nice to know there is someone else out there who had this. I am relieved. I started to think I was imagining it. How long did it last?
The smoking thing bothers me.

Thank you. It's just wierd, that's all. Nothing compared to all the crapola going on down yonder.

PC,
Thank you for the link.A little wierded out now that it actually explains my symptoms and others on here know exactly what I am talking about. Just kidding.
This was the first time I read anything about it that says it could be linked to smoking.
Interesting thought.
Thanks again

I only lasted a few months. And I didn't quit smoking.
It was also several years ago and I'm still alive and kickin'

This has been happening to me for 20 years. Started when I was about 29. I've talked about it with various doctors, none of whom seem to think it's any big deal. So I quit worrying about it. It only happens to me when I make it happen by squeezing.
