They look like they should come with a matching hospital gown.

When I was in the hospital psych ward for the first time, I was given (as were we all)
foam slippers to wear and they had happy faces on the toes. I suppose it was well meant, but it was just so mocking to be suicidal and stare down at these brilliant yellow grinning faces. Honestly, the way it looked with all of us great unwashed, together in various stages of agony wearing the damn things, they may as well have given us bunny suits.
The other thing was that the floor was fake brick and the path from the reception to the psych ward was painted yellow, just like going to Oz. The path to any other of the hospital areas was marked with signs.

Hey, be careful! I'm a decorator and that description is so visually disturbing it makes my stomach hurt!!! LOL!!!

When my daughter was in, she and her room mate secretly decorated with HELP! signs hidden behind the curtains, facing out to the street, which I thought was too funny!
