Fun stuff to do in Toronto

Posted by Deneb on July 13, 2005, at 22:14:52

I was just thinking, if I go to Toronto next year to meet you guys, I think I would want to stop by Paramount Canada's Wonderland.

Who wants to ride some rollar coasters with me?
It'll be fun!
It's ok if no one wants to go with me though...I can still have fun by myself.

We (or just I) could also go to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM).

been to wonderland 3 times this year..
what a place...i just hate it...(not in toronto btw)
to get the true "toronto flavour" go to queen st..take in the wonderful shops... used book stores are my passion..
china town, little italy...admire the beautiful brick homes that have been sitting for over a 100 years...and the love the owners care for them..and the neglect that cries out for stories to be told..
toronto is about its people..
not a "wonderland"..

I only like riding the rollar coasters. I don't like the long lines or the noise. I usually get a headache after going to an amusement park. I wish I didn't have to line up to ride the coasters.

That was a lovely description. I've been to China town, I usually don't like it because my Mom takes forever going to the little shops and picking out strange foods. I like looking at the strange foods, but it gets boring after a while.

For some reason people don't really interest me that much. Maybe it is because I don't interact with them much (except here of course). :-)

Once I fainted into the arms of a policeman at the CNE (the "Ex" for those in the know) after riding rollercoasters all day. What a way to get an express ride to the streetcar!
last week we got to enjoy:
an outdoor juried art show at City Hall
a street music festival (Holly Cole for FREE! Yowza!)
Queen Street - a cool stroll any time of the year
driving past all the posh shops on Avenue road
.... and all this in one day.
I LOVE TORONTO.
