Last week was just one of those lovely weeks where eveything breaks and goes wrong. Anyone else get thouse as often as I do? ;-) haha!
Let's see...started with the hard drive in my Tivo breaking. That's torture for someone addicted to tv like I am! Plus, I still had all my season finales to watch that I hadn't gotten too. Argh!!! Then I began upgrading my Tivo and trying to copy all my recorded shows to another hard drive and by accident I must have gotten some static electricity on me because I ended up destroying my motherboard and memory. Took me 3 days to finally figure out it was the motherboard. Argh! At the same time my beloved MP3 player broke, so I had to go out and buy one of those also.
I finally got my computer up and running Sunday afternoon after getting no sleep for 48 hours. Unfortunately, I needed to get my papers for school written by Sunday since I was flying out Monday for an annual meeting in DFW. Obviously didn't happen, so here I am in Texas with no papers written. :-( If I don't get them done ASAP, I don't graduate next week. The problem is that I'm working this annual meeting from 6am until 11pm every day until Sunday. I'm so dead tired right now!
On a good note...I know someone who lives 10 minutes from the hotel and he was able to build me a computer out of spare parts he had so that I could write my paper. Now I just have to get the energy to do it! hahaha! Anyone want to write a 10-15 page paper for me??? I'll give you a basic outline I've done and all you have to do is fill in the words. Come on...you know you want to!!! ;-)

I have to do a research paper about how so many state legislatures are trying to pass legislation that is like the Kyoto Protocol (lowers CO2 levels to below 1990 levels). I'm writing about how passing legislation like this at the state level will effect federal enviromental policy. I'm writing against Kyoto-like legislation in the states. I also have to discuss the McCain-Leiberman Bill regarding similar CO2 legislation.
You still want to write the paper? ;-)
