GG? Where are you?

I have probably asked this before, but forgot the answer... Where are you? I read an old post that you are a Vols fan. I live near Knoxville, and used to work for 6 years at UT. Also got a MS from there. I like UT football OK, but it is SUCH A RELIGION around here that I tire of the really insane fans. Was not happy to hear UT lost, especially to the Gators...

Hi Mal,
You bet it's a religion. I've heard that on home game days, Neyland Stadium is the third largest city in TN. :) It's pretty exciting to see a game in person. The band gets me going every time when they form the power T and the team runs through it!

I'm from the midwest, but I married into my TN Vols fandom. I'm going to a game soon. Look for me, I'll be wearing orange! snort

It's so pretty near Knoxville. Ever get out on the lake?

We don't go to too many games. OK, we haven't been to one since 99 or so. We used to take advantage of the minimal traffic and crowds at nice restaurants during the games.

It is beautiful around here but we aren't lake people much. We have some friends with boats and went out with them one day a couple of years ago. Now we have a 2 year old with no fear, and boating just doesn't seem too safe.

We get out and hike some, run some, bike some. I like to work in the yard soem (also difficult with a toddler), and lord knows I need to pull some weeds!

Congratulations on marring into the Vols religion. Your man can't be all bad if he is a Vols fan!! LOL
