CORAFREE

Posted by corafree on October 19, 2005, at 12:16:08

To anyone who wondered where I might have gone or if I was alive or not, I am alive and well.

My computer did pass away months ago.

I apologize for not logging on @ another computer to touch base, but feared I'd get started w/ something that I couldn't finish on another computer.

I just moved (I mean a week!)closer to the mountains here in the SW.

I am alone still .. no significant other is significant enough for me right now.

I am having some difficulty opening my boxes, unpacking, putting things where I think they might/maybe need to go. I'm kind of just sitting and pondering. My 'partner' 'best friend' is pregnant and on bedrest.

I have missed you all. Hope to hear that any of my friends out there are doing well or even if not doing well, and maybe even if can identify w/ this whole 'moving issue.'

bestwishes cf

Wow - we shared so much, especially on one of the other boards.

It is so good to hear from you.

Corafree, I definitely can relate to you. We are in the process of moving inland in SC from the Coast. We've been traveling back and forth. And staying with my Daughter who's getting a divorce. My stress is so high. I have a headache right now. And we're selling three properties to make this move. And no work for either of us. Yes, I can definitely relate. So do you feel better now it's over? Please give me some hope. Fondly, Phillipa

Hey you ... moving also!

I just had a real eye-opening confrontation w/ my daughter, the person who has been there for me for so long, and it wasn't a comfortable experience.

I'll let you know when I get brave enough to do my first load of laundry.

I am having to really take adjusting to a new abode very slow.

This move is complicated too. Combining three properties. Please keep me posted on how you're doing. And any advise for do it yourself movers. With two cars, truck with furniture. Seems quite overwhelming. You can Babblemail me and I'll give you my E-mail address. Fondly, Phillipa
