How are you? We haven't talked in a while but you and your family are still in my prayers. i want you to have wisdom, strength and peace although i think you already have wisdom. I hope you are well with your diabetes and your love of food I just want you to feel good about yourself. You desreve it! Also, I hope that Bush has better luck rebuilding New Orleans than he's had in Iraq. Cheers friend.

Thanks Bobby. I appreciate that. And I (and my family) need all the prayers for wisdom (especially), strength, and peace that we can get. We've got some tough choices ahead about whether to stay or leave, and either one could turn out to be disastrous in different ways or a good choice.
(My mother's also back, so I really need a lot of prayers for patience!)
I don't have good feelings right now about the rebuilding. Some of our local politicians appear to be trying to live up to their reputations, and that's not going to do us any good in the eyes of the nation. Sigh.
Soooo....
If it weren't for my son and concerns about moving him from his school, I'm pretty sure we'd be on our way to Huntsville, AL or Atlanta or Nashville or Jackson, MS or anywhere in the southeast where hurricanes don't wipe out cities. :(
