What is mental insability in definition?
Staying at home, feeling that im trapped, plus pressure of collage, getting a new job, mother will not take me the doctor becuase im on her insurance. I feel really unstable, at times.
Fluctuating feelings, unstable thoughts.

Unhealthy environments don't tend to give way to a healthy well being in most folks. I don't think an almost complete lack of control over most aspects of our lives is a great way to live either. I'm sorry for your situation.

I don't see why you can't take yourself to the doctor. If you are your mother's dependent (insurance-wise) and 18 or over you should have your own card. If not, you can copy the info. off your mom's. If you're really worried about her finding out you'll have to snag the Explanation of Benefits from the mail before she sees it.
Another thought--your doctor's office probably has all your insurance info. already.

I second what Ilene said. Also, are you able to get regular therapy through your college? Most schools have counseling ctrs for students that have a small fee or no fee. Your parents would not need to be involved or know. Colleges often are a great source for mental health help. See what your school has and take advantage of it. You seem to worry constantly and appear very unhappy. Please take care of yourself.
Best,
EE
