I have to think of a new way to think of life

Posted by rjlockhart on January 14, 2006, at 22:53:52

I feel i want to change my views of reality, and change, i want to become better, i want to become someone else.

Sometimes you have talants that you didnt know you had, its time for me to find them.

For the longest time, i used projected images of myself that where not me, and thats what stunted me. People make friends and socialize becuase they develop a sense of who they are. I have many senses of who i am, which is confusing.

I need to get a grip and reality check, which im in the process of right now. I want to change.

I want to leave behind who i was and grow.

Self-awareness, inner planning, deep thinking.

Matt

Hey Matt,

It is very hard when you don't have a sense of who you are, but know more who you'd like to be, but aren't anywhere near there yet.

Someone's gonna shoot me for saying this again, but maybe go to the library and get a copy of "Self Esteem: Your Fundamental Power" by Caroline Myss. I hope it works for you, it's helping me quite a bit. Admittedly, facing up to my many shortcomings, not defending my self, and owning up to all the opportunities I let go by is very difficult.
