Brilliant photos, you definately have a great artistic eye, have you got any further with thinking about a new camera?
You have inspired me to get us down to St Ives this year when we are at Padstow in August and definatly to 'The Lost gardens of Heligan'

Heligan is really near to St Austell.. sort of half way between there and Mevagissey (just don't get me started on Mevagissey *lol*)
Its amazing.. we're definately planning on returning there in September when hopefully it won't be quite so cold *L* I want to see the mudmaiden when my eyes aren't streaming because of the wind *L*
Well.. I've been discussing it with Larry Hoover (who I owe an email to.. I must remember..) and I think I'm going to look further into the "SLR style" point and press.. like to Sony Cybershot DSC-H1.. I'm not sure an SLR is really for me (I'm relatively lazy, so while I want control, I don't want too much and want to be able to easily just point and press when I want to *L*), and weight is a real issue for me as I have nerve damage in my arms so they're painful and very weak..
But, on Larry's advice, I'm going to go ask the good camera shop in town (a large Jessops) if they will lend me one for half an hour if I leave my credit card or something (but not buy it from there, they're hugely more expensive than Amazon!) so I can have a go!
Its fun planing though, but I really don't want to rush into anything!

I'm pleased you are going to go back and apparently Sept can be really beautiful down there (and of course you'll have it to yourselves again because the schools will be back) We're limited to holiday time.
It is such a long drive but worth it when you get there.
Hope Jessops are helpful and planning it is half the fun.
