Today i walked the dogs 6 miles and I could hear, see and smell everything.
I realise how much the depression deafens and blinds me, I cried because it was all a bit much for my senses.
It was a beautiful UK spring day, sun shining, not too cold. I crunched through last autumns dried leaves, saw bright green shoots on trees, smelled the farmer's muck spreader (even that was ajoy!) stood for hours watching and listening to a field of lambs.
This is the first proper self motivated outing, i am ashamed at how close I came to not ever doing this again.
i am afraid because i fear it won't be like this forever and i'll forget what it can be like. Please, please don't think I'm gloating or being smug I just wanted to tell someone that there are good days out there.
