Father's Day *possible trigger*

Posted by corafree on June 18, 2006, at 13:35:35

I miss my Dad. This is just the third Father's Day I cannot call and hear his happy "Tks" and the delight in his voice as he tells me about his day. He was a treasure and I was sort of his; too much maybe. I would give anything for one more hour to tell him how wonderful he was.

'I'm not sure' if this is a trigger for you who don't have a good relationship w/ your father, access to your father, or your father has passed.

I gave three men each one beautiful child. (It's a rule; only one child allowed per man.) That's 'a sorta haha'.

Anyway, none of them acknowledged me on Mother's Day; ya' know essentially thanking me for these children they have in their lives.

Today I cannot do unto others as I would have them do unto me, even though it is in my heart.

They are/were mean to ignore me on Mother's Day, and each all well aware of my grief over my father's passing. I want to be good, but they keep being bad. If I acknowledge them, I'll feel like they've wiped their shoes on me again.

I did send e-cards to my uncle, brother, son-in-law, bros-in-laws, nephew, nephews-in-laws(?).

Without hesitation I wish all babble fathers Happy Father's Day!

love, cf

What a nice gesture I'm sure they appreciated that. Love Phillipa
