Went to Chinatown in New York saturday. Saw a strange exotic fruit. bought one. took it home. Admired it. Googled it. Cut it open--beautiful ! took my first taste of this savoury delight----yuck! will stick with Lychees.

I bought one of those on my last trip to Asia. Regrettably I got violent food poisoning, and the dragonfruit just languished in the refrigerator, forgotten, and uneaten. I still have never eaten one.
They almost look like caviar inside, huh?
