I got flooded last night by the poor little pup. Not her fault, I'm sure. She's never had a bed accident in her life.
I guess the diuretic coupled with what's going on in her brain caused it.
She's a girl, and a tiny one at that, and I've never had much luck with girl diapers. I know I'd never be able to fit enough padding for absorbancy.
I'm thinking lots of beach towels with some sort of liner underneath? We have been confining her to a small portion of the bed between us since she's been sick, since she can't determine where the edge of the bed is with only one eye working.
Any ideas? Other than making her sleep on the floor. That seems too harsh.
(Fortunately we have a hypoallergenic mattress cover that also is waterproof.)

A giant adult diaper or disposable pad?

Hi Dinah,
I think Midnightblue's idea of a disposable pad is good. I think you should be able to find them at a drug store. I know hospitals use them for human patients who are bedridden, so I don't know why they wouldn't work for a little pup that's bedridden.
Safe cyber hugs to Pup.

That's a great idea! That should work nicely.
The amazing thing is that my husband didn't immediately call for a banishment to the floor. :)
