Why is it easier to help others than it is ourselves? I'll read posts on this board and have some really good insights I think, but when it comes to my own life I can't see for sh*t. It's like we offer advice to folks for the same problems we have but we don't have enough sense to take our own advice. I say we but I really mean just me. Intellectually, I'm smart as a whip, but emotionally, I'm dumb as a post.
Any thoughts?

I was once told that there are some people out there who choose to help others because they cannot help themselves. Also, there are those who reach out to others hoping deep down that one day someone will reach out to them.
This is the end of the thread.
