THIS...is the day! Nice people, peace and order, gentle kindness, wide open spaces, low crime rate. If I had a megaphone I'd blast it to the rest of the world. :-) But, that's not really a Canadian quality...so quietly, we will celebrate. (We do have that 'issue' with Stephen Harper, but he will be gone soon..;-)
I've got my little flag, case of Molson Canadian beer on the front porch. The sun is shining, blue sky, and there is a gentle cool breeze ruffling through the large Maple trees. I am on my front porch, chatting occasionally with passer-by's and neighbours. Quiet, friendly, lots of smiles, families with little kids and laughter, and oh so perfect! This is really it...part of what being Canadian is all about.Jay

I love your homeland, Jay. Any place that can create and pull off Trailer Park Boys and make me laugh so much every show--that's my kind of place.
