Terrified ultasound of ovary an hour for surgery

Posted by Phillipa on November 6, 2007, at 12:24:00

I don't know which is better getting old or not as the health problems start. So I finally get up the never for ob-gyn three years and enlarged ovary and falling uterus and bladder kinking up urethra so can't pee. And this is a rectocele and cystocele what if it's cancer the mental stuff is nothing no meds can take away the fear or the husband saying nothing is wrong. Make it go away. I'm scared!!!!!!

I can understand being scared. I think it's normal when tests are outstanding to fear the worst. But now you've seen the doctor, maybe they can make it a lot better even if they can't make it go away.

You've done the right thing.

I'll be sending my most positive thoughts your way.

I went through the same thing with the whole questionable mammogram thing, and everything turned out fine for me. I understand its hard not to worry though. I found I finally just had to let all that go and think - what will be will be. I mean, we sure don't have any control over it. So try to hang in there!

I'm sending positive vibes your way.

Thank-you all Dinah part of your earlier question to me but you are all terrific and helped me. Turns out with vaginal ultrasound ovaries okay but do need cystocele surgery, and rectocele surgery and hysterectomy come January. Have some estrogren cream til then for firmer female parts. And testing still to go thank-you I totally have been freaked out for about three weeks since first appointment. And read Farray has anal cancer. Love hugs and kisses to all of you Phillipa
