My baby just arrived with the FedEx guy. It was only four months old when it had to go to the computer hospital and have its system board and one of two hard drives replaced.
:(
I'm thinking of adopting it a baby backup (errr... sister.)
But for now I'm just happy it's home. And ready to reinstall all the programs and reload all the data. Sigh.

If it had a chin I would chuck it underneath (is that what it's called) or tickle it.
Cootchie coo.
I'd be utterly lost without my eMac, and it's hopelessly underpowered for what it does. You really just have to blink a few times and technology just whooshes past you, it seems.CS

And I never used a computer til four years ago. Still can't do the stuff you can do. But I have learned last three day to post with templets on ebay quite a feat for me. Well it's something I guess. So glad your baby is home sounds like you're quite attached. Phillipa

I had forgotten how touchy Vista can be. I'll have to remember what I did to get it to be more stable.
I can't imagine what I did before computers. It's been a while though. I remember my first "lunchbox" portable. Twenty someodd pounds, and a 5 1/4" disc drive.
