My sister has been reading my posts

Posted by Deneb on February 10, 2008, at 19:36:58

I angered her when I started telling my Mom how she looks down on people and then she told me she's been reading my posts on PsychoBabble for a year now. She says she hasn't read anything for 2 months because it's boring and she promised not to read anymore after I started crying.

I'm OK now.

She said she started reading my posts because she was worried about me. I guess she was afraid I would kill myself and she figured I would write about it before I did it.

Anyways, if she's reading, Hello sister!

Hey sis!

Deneb deserves support, not harassment and ridicule. If you REALLY want to help your sister, go to a therapist and find out the correct procedures for helping a person. Kay?

After reading this the next day I see that my remarks probably break the civilty rules here. I apologize to the person it was directed at and anyone else who may have been offended.

I don't see speaking the truth as a problem, personally!

Well, thanks both of you! It just felt wrong to me. I think its important to try to conduct my life in a way that doesn't hurt other people, no matter how justified it may seem at the time. I don't always succeed (obviously), but its something to strive for. Its one of the things I admire about Wiccans - their creed is, "Harm ye none". And to think people think they're evil devil worshipers! Well, don't get me started on THAT one.

Is it creed or rede? I don't know, I'm not claiming to be an expert here or anything.

I think it's creed & a pretty good one at that!!

I applaud your sentiments!!!!! & admire them.

luv, Kath

I tend to REACT in a way that's certainly not coming from my gentlest place in my heart when I encounter someone I care about being hurt! I guess it's a good challenge for me! I think I usually fail miserably. K

PS - Deneb - hope you're okay!!!! luv ya, Kath

Yeah, that seems to be my weakness too. Like I said, its what I strive for, I don't necessarily succeed.
