And just this past weekend I had all the windows open, and when it got to 77°F inside, I had to turn on the air! Now its freaking snowing!!!! That's TX for you!
I took tomorrow off. I went back in today after the weekend, and between my boss and rudegirl I was losing my freaking mind! So I took my last coming vacation day. I just don't know how much more I can take of the stress! (Plus it will be so COLD in the morning!!!).
My boss griped me out for a minor typo. She's "so sick of my typos!" I've made about 3-4 in my entire career there! And typing isn't even a requirement of my job! I just happened to have taught myself to type fairly well. The previous person to hold my position (rudegirl) can't even spell, much less type. She types with one finger. But my boss has gotten used to the fact that I can type. !@#$%
I just keep thinking, there's got to be another way I can make a living that wouldn't be so exasperating. Every time I took one of those career tests in school I always got a top score for Forest Ranger. At the time it sounded ridiculous, but now it sounds pretty darn good!
Anybody have any ideas other than Forest Ranger? Being a graphic artist is the first thing I've ever made a living at. And I do like it, I just get so sick of PEOPLE! I guess the logical thing would be freelance, but I'm not sure how to get started at that. Plus, my anxiety could never take not knowing if I have a paycheck coming. Of course, I guess once you getting going pretty good at it, you might be able to earn a steady income. I just don't know.
It doesn't help my moof that I recently found out that two of my biggest lon-n-ng time crushes are now married (they are both from pre-babble days). That has really bummed me out. The first one was bad, the second one was worse. I just liked the idea that maybe someday I would run into them and something would click.
I just want to be happy in life. Why is it so freaking hard???? (Wow, my subject matter is really all over the place, isn't it?)

The snow is melted now, but it sure was pretty while it lasted. And I laid around all day today and read books. It was nice not to have to deal with work. But I have to go back tomorrow. Bleck! Hopefully it will go uneventfully. Hopefully I won't dare to type 'block' instead of 'black'!
My birthday went well. I went to my mom's and hung out with the family. There was a bit of the usual crazy crap, but it was kept to a minimum.
I'm still trying to get healthier, stop drinking and lose weight, but I haven't been doing very well lately. I guess you just have to keep trying right?

When I was in high school decades ago, we used to wear dresses or skirts (girls did; could wear jeans) we wore slips & if our slip was 'showing' we'd get told: "It's snowing down south".
