This of course isn't MY song...but it is a cover.
It was just recorded, and I am so excited..lol..it hasn't been mixed down or mastered properly, so it is a little LOUD. So be prepared to turn your volume down. It was recorded on 24-bit, so I hope it will play for everyone. But, it speaks from the heart, I think. It's an instrumental. It's called "Cryin'"
And yes, during the chorus-bridge in this song, a tear did come to my eye. ;-) Seriously, it is a beautiful song, I just hope I got it right. To listen, go here:(copy and paste that into your browser)

Yep, but I cheated a bit on guitar..heh. I played everything on there in my little bedroom studio. I'll try and tame it down, mix it down a bit, Thnx...Jay

I will do a remix and lower the volume for you a bit.I know I recorded in the red just because I like the passion of loud music, as I crunch my face all contorted and such and scream out loud when I play. I get goosebumps on my arm at times when the passion strikes. Thanks for the compliments..:-) BTW, that is all done with real instrumentsno drum machines or anything. I just use some special digital and midi manipulation when I do guitar because I am not a very good guitar player. But, they do that stuff in all the recording studios these days, so, I dont feel so guilty. Now Ive just got to get up the courage to put some of my own music out there. Eventually;-)

p.s. Id do more stuff, but a lot requires vocals, and I CANNOT sing!..lol. I do take requests for vocal-less songs though! (i.e. Ill do the song and leave out the vocals.)

Very nice work. I'm used to hearing my son's work, which is also impressive, but it's electronic - for mixing....so quite different.
I hope you're proud of your work!

Well, thanks so much Kath! This is kinda rough and rawI havent had time to remix it and remaster it properly. Ive got some other very, very different stuff too Ill post. One of my own called I Burn For You.. I wanted to dedicate to a certain hottie Chic on the board from down South;-) (Oooppssmaybe I am getting too personalhehlol) Phewww..ya its warm in here..lol. But, hey, your son does electronic music? That is very interesting. Id love to hear some of it. Music is just a great way to express yourself, for anybody, and I encourage anyone, you, or whoever, to share your favourite music! It doesnt have to be hip or whatever, it can be salsa music for that matter!!..lol. I bring my guitar and some tambourines to work, and I show the clients I work with how to play anything they wantheck it can be a t.v. commercial jingle! And they just love it! That is such a wonderful feeling to experience, and music is a LOT simpler then people think.
