I have had contact with one tonight, and twice last week. They invalidated me ... a lot!
Does anyone know if they are able to see our diagnoses by way of SS number?

FF what is going on as you disappeared. No you ss# is just a number that just you have. Nothing to do with medical. Except if you have medicaire your social security number is your medicaire number too don't know about medicaid. What happened? Love Phillipa

I felt as if the PD here which I'd contacted twice recently somehow knew about my dx.
I was spoken to in a condescending manner.
I was told I 'didn't make any sense' as re: cell phone hacking, whereas my carrier said it is happening, but not widespread yet. My carrier also instructed me to go to my local PD and get an exigent form.
To this issue and another, the officers acted as if they were a waste of their time and not important, and, by their mannerisms and condescending speech; one foot out the door the minute they stepped in and spoken to as above.
I wasn't given a card, badge number, or incident number (any way of following up), until I requested them.
Are you sure you're correct Phillipa?
I still wonder if they somehow have access to the diagnosis for which I receive SSD.

FF no I'm not positive as anything seems to be possible today. Did you ask the police dept if they knew your diagnosis? If not call Medicaire or caid and ask them. They would know for sure. Love Phillipa

No, didn't say anything to p. officers.
It's nearing closing time today, but suppose Medicare's a possibility, but are they supposed to share this info? Could it be 'their privacy' violated?
Also, SSA really should know, but, then again, are they obliged to tell me; a thought.
After occurences @ schools, malls, colleges, etc., like you said ... anything is possible.
If the PD does have access, well then only someone w/ knowledge of it, I mean someone who knows the diff' between an illness which is dangerous, and which isn't, should accompany those responding to a call of this sort; only fair.

Fivefires,
As I understand it, police officers can check to see if you've been hospitalized for being a danger to your self and/or others, but they don't have access to information as detailed as a diagnosis.
Hope this helps a little...
