My sister's husband, who just switched jobs (same job, different company) and was told at his new job "he was safe and secure", as well as being one of the top salespeople in N. America, got fired. He is almost 50 years old. Just to make it be known, so you don't shop there, it was Office Depot. :) (He worked in the Corporate Sales Division, selling to office towers and large companies.) He has over 35 years as a top-selling salesman in a high-pressured business. He landed millions of dollars in contracts. But, supposedly, that wasn't good enough. He and my sister just bought a 500,000 dollar house in Toronto too. They still have three early-20 kids at home. My poor sister, she has fell into a massive depression with crunching anxiety, and is seeing a psychiatrist tomorrow. Her doctor rx'd her emergency meds last Friday. I hope she has enough benzos to help her calm down the anxiety and let her sleep. Maybe an atypical antipsychotic might help now too. She is a loving, caring, wonderful, will do anything for anybody, type person. Just like our parents.
I don't know about my brother-in-law's mental state. He is a pretty tough guy, but soft on the inside. So I ask for your prayer, to bring my sis and bro-in-law some peace.
I remember when I lost my job back in 1997, I went into a deep depression, suicidal, and had no hope. Nobody would hire me because of past job.
They where being *ssh*l*s. That wasn't the worst thing I ever experienced, but it was certainly a second. Thanks sooooooo very kindly...
Peace,
Jay

I hope your sister will get relief from the meds. The strong bond of your family and many prayers will help all of you get through this setback.
