"What happened to me?"
1. Age?
2. Location?
3. Hanging clothes on line? (to keep my carbon footprint down)
4. Older than dirt? (that is me and some of my clothes that are at least 12 years old.....linen doesn't wear out or go out of style, right?) :-)
5. Lazy?
6. I only have to cover my parts when I go to work? (well, it is a little more than that.....but slacks, polo shirts OR jeans Fridays works for me, but no opened toed shoes...i supposed an offender could stomp my foot)
7. Around the house I wear pretty much the same thing...wash it, dry it and put it back on.
8. Hot, hot, hot weather?
9. Lazy?
10. Need a boy friend to do it for me? (laundry)

I had a three day weekend and in all that time I couldn't motivate myself to go down the 3 flights of stairs to get the laundry detergent I left in my car. So I don't know what I'm going to wear tomorrow. I guess I need a boyfriend to run down and get things out of my car.

How about you and I share the cost of a "Rent-A-
Boyfriend" and send him back and forth. After all, we're both in Texas and it couldn't be "that" far for him to drive. (uh oh...rental car?)

I still like to do laundry, even hanging it out on the line to dry. It's cleaning that I now avoid. I once dusted the tops of doorways (can you say obsessive?) but now I have to push myself to dust the furniture and vacuum the cat hair up.

Late but waiting to leave house. I have taken to washing my underwear in the sink at night as to not have to do laundry pretty slick as it soaks for a few hours. And that obsessive doorway tops dusting. I kind of run my socked feet over the moldings and dust that way. Once a lady at a health club said why do you young people I was only 30 then clean so much as when you die the dust and dirt will continue to gather. Phillipa

My theory is a person only has so much laundry and housecleaning in them and when you reach your limit you are done. It would seem that many of us, have reached our limits earlier than expected. LOL I wish each house or apt. came with its own robot to clean up!!! How about that. Can you imagine R2D2 cleaning house for you.
Anyway, i can totally related. And it isn't about having a new house, cause I got one of those and I still don't want to clean or do laundry or anything that relates to a CHORE. I would like PLAY.
Sorry fayeroe, no solutions just empathy.
rsk
ps I remember one friend I had when I lived in Houston, that had 40 towels because she kept going and buying more instead of washing the ones she had...LOL
weird the lengths some of us will go to get out of doing stuff.
