Okay, so I am sorry for my above post, feeling sorry for myself...blah blah...heh..lol. I am managing to write about a million pages of my own written work a week, going back to first week in Sept, and will be done 2nd week in December. I am *supposed* to read about 500 pages a week, but I use "Jay's Quickie Speed-Read Method"...haha. Thank you Phillipa, TexasBabe, and Kath. Oh, and T, my bir-day is on Dec22, 1969...so we missed it by about 39 years...lol. When is yours dear? Also, I am very, very sorry for not being the one who has followed your trials and tribulations. Actually, I have, but I've not posted and been supportive like I should have. I get what I deserve, eh?...heh. Kath and Phillipa, thank you both too for your kind understanding.
I have this one prof for "Adv. Theories in Education" who doesn't seem to like me...I dunno....she just always "tosses" me aside, and doesn't seem to care about anything I say! She has even almost "made fun" of me on the internet bulletin board we use. She said something like "Ohh..It looks like Jay has got it this time too." (with a little comment like "Sorry Jay, don't mean to pick on you.."...or something like that.) Should I take this to the higher-ups...the student union, or the administration? It really bothers me when someone doesn't like me, but I guess that is also part of my depression. But I shouldn't have to take such c*ap, especially in a course that I paid a lot of my hard earned money to be in.

Perhaps she is somewhat threatened by this. Hell, maybe she has a secret crush on you, LOL. What I would do is confront her and kindly tell her how you feel. Look her directly in the eyes. If you get no satisfaction, and her behavior towards you continues, then I would take it to her superiors.

Ahhhh..thank you for the kind words Phillipa. :-) No, I am no extraordinary person,
Nor gifted or *anything* like that. I am just a chump who has always had to work at things 50x harder to get them. The material in this particular course is not so hard that anybody, with a bit of reading and such, couldnt understand. Its just there is a TON of theories, philosophies, etc, that I have to know backwards and forwards. But, my little bit of luck is that I can Bulls*it my way through thingshahaa. That has saved my back many times. Thanks for your concern dearI hope you are doing wellIll check over the boards a bit more and get back to you. Take care,
Jay

Hi Jay...I am sorry you are having some trouble with feeling out of place and working hard in school. If it continues, have you thought about writing a letter to the instructor first? Just a thought :) If it doesn't solve anything, then maybe then report it to higher up...
Hope things get better for you
Peace
