I am just so frustrated, I want to scream and stomp and tear my hair out. I reinstalled Ubuntu and the sound won't work. I've tried fixes, they don't work or I don't know how to get them to work.
Ahhhh! Help!

It sounds like you haven't installed the drivers. Do you have a CD or something that came with your computer?
