I am feeling upset

Posted by Deneb on March 31, 2009, at 21:50:02

I got my review at work today and I didn't get the productivity bonus.

I thought I would get it because you need a TRS of 10 or above to get it and at the end of my review period my TRS was over 10. It turns out they use the TRS that I got right when I hit my 500 hour mark and it was just over 9. My TRS is at over 14 now.

I was so sure I got the bonus. This upsets me.

Even thought I got a perfect 100% excellent score on my quality, I am upset because they didn't give me a bonus.

I am getting sad thoughts :-(

I need to forget this so I took a propranolol.

Why do I only focus on the fact that I didn't get that bonus when I got the quality bonus and my regular wage increase?

My work is closing now anyways, none of my scores matter anymore. As long as my quality and productivity are not absolutely terrible they won't fire me. There is no time for another wage increase. There is no pressure to excel now.

Sigh.

I am feeling kind of down lately.

The profits were privatised and then the loses were socialised.

Your feelings make perfect sense.

Please don't sweat the small stuff. Sounds like you have a great position. These are tough economic times and "everything" is being tightened

Don't sweat the details
