I am researching restaurants for SF. I've decided I have very high standards and am a foodie, based on previous experience with restaurants.
I am willing to spend more than $100 on an excellent dinner.
I just wish others would get more excited.

There is an outstanding Thai restaurant in S.F. I'll have to do research to get you the name. They have a dish (I used to eat meat) with thinly sliced sirloin, mint leaves, lime juice, garlic, cucumber slices, thinly sliced fresh jalepenos and lemongrass. I used to get it and take it on the plane to eat instead of that crap they serve.
Do you like seafood? I'll have to check but I think the restaurant is simply called Union Seafood..but I could be very wrong. I know what street it is on so I'll do a search.

Oh neat, let me know the name if you can find it. I love Thai food! My aunt works as a server in one here in Ottawa and she always brings us yummy Thai food.
I like most seafood too. Crab, lobster, certain kinds of fish. Yummy crab legs!
I tried raw oysters in D.C., they were pretty good.
I love Japanese food too, different types of sushi and stuff.

My itinerary is more detailed now.
I'm really excited about this trip. It's going to be so much fun!
Right now I am trying to convince the others and Dr. Bob to go to the Tactile Dome at the Exploratorium. I really wanna go!
I also made reservations at Gary Danko for one! They only had 2 time slots, but I got one of them. Yay! They are super expensive, but everyone says it is worth it.
Some other things I will be doing:
Go to the California Academy of Sciences for their Nighlife thingie
Go on a whole day SF and Muir Woods tour with a shuttle company
Go to Alcatraz and Angel Island
Have dinner with Babblers
Hopefully go to the Exploratorium
Eat at a sushi place, a crepes place and Gary Danko.
Visit my childhood home and school in Daly City.
Go shopping in Union SquareI am so excited! It will be so much fun!
This is the end of the thread.
