Oh good !
I'm trying to decide. Please tell me how you like it and other stuff. My appreciation in advance.

Hmmm...
Well, I like a lot of old books that weren't famous enough to re-released on kindle, so mine isn't very full. At this point it's nothing like iPod where I basically ditched my albums and cd's and replaced it with digital.
I love the samples. I spend more time reading samples than I do buying books.
It's sometimes slow in turning pages, but that may be because I have the print set to large so I have to switch pages a lot.
It drives me nuts that they don't have playlists or folders. All the books sit in one big index that you can sort by author, or title, or most recently accessed. I use most recently.
I thought I'd use it more than I do. But if you like best sellers, I'm sure you'll use it more than I do.
Still, it's awfully convenient to have a bunch of books in a space small enough to fit in a purse.
Overall, I like it and will someday buy an upgrade (likely when they have folders or playlists) and will give this one to my son.
Any particular questions?

Thanks Dinah.
Being tacky but nontheless realistic, are the service costs, download costs, etc. somewhat reasonable ?

There are none.
Whatever the cost of the book is, that's it.
This is the end of the thread.
