There are some very large homes around here that are entirely landscaped with native plants. Very beautiful.
I'm working towards that myself. I am really dreading my next water bill and I have a very small garden.

I've noticed that this year a lot of people aren't investing in plants and although we had rain for awhile plants are just plain dying including well established trees losing their leaves. Something here is attacking plants and trees too. Strange. People aren't watering as much either some of course with money water a lot. It's strange. Phillipa
