Aw, poor guy

Posted by Deneb on August 9, 2009, at 20:51:24

I'm watching a Mr. Hong Kong pageant. One of the guys got like over 300 votes from the audience for his talent performance and one guy got just 4. Poor guy. Average number was probably around 90 votes. LOL

Now comes the swimsuit competition. LOL There is water spraying on their bodies. They have on swim briefs. There is this guy with an ultra hot body. rofl.

Oh yeah and the audience is all women. LOL

Number 1 has the most points after the swimsuit competition. The lowest was like 34 points. There are only 2 others with more points than 300. Number one got over 900 points after the swimsuit competition. lol It's not even a contest anymore. Number one went first with the scoring and the rest didn't have a chance. LOL

Number 1's answer to the question part of the pageant wasn't all that great, but he is going to win, no problem, he is really hot.

I was going to sleep but I took a shower and am watching this pageant and I am less sleepy now. LOL

Poors guys with low scores. I hope they don't feel too bad. It must feel awful to have only 34 points when number 1 has 900 points.

This whole contest is so objectifying but I can't help but look and fawn over them.

I understand.

Here recently there was a scandal on the radio. An unpleasant man who has made a fortune on Australian Idol by heaping abuse on the contestants came unstuck on his radio show, on which he used a lie detector on people who were questioned on air. So this mother(!) brings in her 14yo daughter who is hooked up to the detector and questioned, by her mother and this presenter, about her sex life on air. The conversation went something like this
Mother: 'Have you had sex?'
Daughter: 'Yes.'
Mother: 'When?'
Daughter (in tears): 'Well, if you really want to know, I was raped when I was 12.'
Radio presenter: 'Any other sexual experiences?'

It was that casual question at the end that overcame our modest sense of what is inappropriate. I should add that we flock to this show, it is the high point of that radio station's profile. So that is how our hypocrisies are panning out here.
