Too much gore in movie

I just saw District 9 in the theatres with my sister and her boyfriend.

I haven't watched television really in years or see any gory movies anymore. I know I used to be desensitized to violence and gore, but I think now I've been un-desensitized.

My sympathetic nervous system is in high gear. Too much gore and violence was in the movie. I feel unsettled and shocked.

I hope I can sleep.

I'm going to think warm fuzzy thoughts about Dr. Bob now. I'm scared.
