today i got up .looked out side an it was raining hard,so i thought i will do something off the wall, i got my car out an said to ruth i will see you tonight, she said why were ya going.i said to my tacky seaside town for some great fish an chips cooked in beef dripping.she know,s me well an said drive safe, me drive safe// i only no one speed an thats light the fuze baby hear i come. its 80miles to the seaside town so i played racecar driver all the way. what a rush.i got there about noon ,all the atractions are closed for the winter ,but i strolled round it was cool, i dont like what they did in the ocean they put load of giant wind turbines ,spoil,s the horizon,i went down chip shop ally, thats what it called a hole street of fish an chips shops on one narrow street.in the summer when there all frying the smell is heaven. anyway i got to my favorit ,an said giant cod an chips baby, she said you get free mushy peas today, i said no i dont wont pea,s its you chips an fish i have come 80 mile for, she said ok an gave me anoth scoop of fries free,i sat outside on a bench under a canopy an it was hammering with rain ,but i was in paradice, i could hardly move after i ate the lot. crawled back to the car, fired her up, an thrashed the 80 mile back home, what a cool day.

I miss fish and chips so much (spent 3 years in the UK). We don't have fish and chips in KS-- only 16 degree weather instead. I'm so jealous!

we have plenty of fish an chip shops, bbbbbbbbbut these are speical, they dont fry in fat free oil . this is an old sea side town that keeps the old traditions,like the fish an chips in beef dripping an lard, god know,s how many calories an nobody cares.listen to this the fish is about 12 inch long ,with the batter golden brown an not stuck to the fish an you just snap it off like a wafer,the chips are thick cut , an not frozen potatoes real ones, they have little tiny spec,s of batter stuck to them the size of a pin head ,a cooked golden,if you ask he will cook a fish called plaice its a flat fish the size off a giant pitza, coved in batter an fried the same .a little more but what a treat,i bet thats really got your taste buds going,i dont like to rub it in but im off agian in january ,i will think of you on my first bite of fish, he he he

Wow, I don't think I ever got far enough from civilization to ever get fish and chips that good. Oxford was about as rural as I got, and I think their chips were still frozen.

what about this, the kids spawned there own trend , this is true i swear, you no the mars bar chocalate like a snicker bar,in one of the fishshop,s the guy froze them an then put them in the fish frier for a minimum perfection time an made battered mars bars,the mars bar was just unfrozen at the time the batter was brown an crispy.he made a fortune as a fad trend, all but died out now thank god,this aint a joke it perfectly true, just one of life mysteries.
