Its not anything big, but its a step. And its full time with benefits! Who would have known, even a year ago, that I would be so impressed by that??? I'm happy though! Its a step up from the present situation, and moving forward is better than standing still any day! So woohoo!

Congratulations! I'd been wondering about you, but was afraid to ask for an update just in case it somehow fell through. So glad it didn't. Full time with benefits is absolutely amazing these days!!! You should be really proud. Which position did you get and when do you start?

Thanks everyone!! Its not a big job, but its a job. I'm actually making the same amount as when I started my career as a graphic artist 11 years ago. And I'll be working nights and weekend for the first time in as many years (other than when I worked overtime at my 9 to 5's). But I could move up to management pretty quickly, or transfer to the home office. Its a big well known company (which I won't name here for privacy and safety's sake). I'll still be looking for a more typical graphics job, but at least I'll have something stable with possibilities while I'm at it. So that's a big relief. Thanks again for the support and well wishes!
