and I have mixed feelings about it. My family and I get along better than we have in ages, possibly ever, so its great that I'm welcome to go spend a couple days with them and see what they're up to.
On the other hand, I kind of dread going home. I was a total pariah for 2-3 years in this area. People who should have known (and done) better (including mental health "professionals") were among those who talked about me, including information that was supposed to be confidential.
That changed. I moved. One of my shrinks is under investigation by the State board, so EVERY single mental health professional I saw at any point was issued a subpoena for my records. I'm pretty sure that stopped a lot of the talking....that and my parents are reasonably well-connected in the community.
Still, I can't help but have a certain sense of apprehension as the date for my visit approaches. I guess I just need to make up my mind to have a good time.
Thanks for reading this.

Good luck, I know what it's like to have people talk about you. You will do okay!
